Wales Millennium Centre announces when it’ll fully reopen
The Wales Millennium Centre has revealed when it’ll fully reopen as Covid restrictions are eased.
The popular venue in Cardiff Bay has been closed for several months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A spokesperson from the Wales Millennium Centre said: “We’re continuing to prepare gradually and safely for this date to ensure that we keep our audiences, performers, crew, staff and volunteers as safe as possible as we emerge from the pandemic.”
They said that the venue will be ready to present shows without social distancing in the 1,900-seater Donald Gordon Theatre from September 9 for the Welsh National Opera’s Autumn Season, with performances of The Barber of Sevilleand Madam Butterfly.
The spokesperson added that customers for these performances, previously advertised as socially distanced, will be contacted directly with further details.
