An ambulance vehicle was involved in a crash with another vehicle on a busy Cardiff road on Tuesday evening.
Both drivers, one of whom was a paramedic with the Welsh Ambulance Service, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The A48 Western Avenue was closed eastbound at around 6pm while emergency services, including ambulance crews, police and a fire engine, worked to clear the scene.
As well as an emergency first responder car left on its rooftop, another car at the scene was also overturned and left on its side.
Western Avenue was briefly closed in both directions and traffic quickly built up with significant delays on Waungron Road and Western Avenue heading east.
