Parts of Wales are set for a battering tomorrow due to storms.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning covering some areas of Wales for the majority of Sunday, August 8.
This comes after they told WalesOnline this morning that any heatwave this month was by no means guaranteed but would likely be at the end of the month if it happened at all. You can read more details on this here.
When is the weather warning in place?
The weather warning is in effect from 12am on Sunday, August 8 until 9pm the same day.

The northern counties of Denbighshire, Flintshire, Conwy, Wrexham, the Isle of Anglesey and the northern parts of Gwynedd are all affected.
What can we expect from the weather warning?
According to the Met Office, heavy rain and thunderstorms causing some flooding and disruption in a few places.
Other issues could include:
- There is a good chance driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water and/or hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus.
- Possibly some damage to a few buildings and structures from lightning strikes.
- Delays to train services are possible.
- Some flooding of a few homes and businesses possible, leading to some damage to buildings or structures.
What about the rest of Wales?
Things will get better as we head through the week.
A Met Office spokesman said: “Showers will remain widespread through Saturday with some locally heavy and thundery outbreaks possible. Coastal locations will experience the strongest winds although other areas blustery at times too. Maximum temperature 19C.”
Things are looking a bit more settled in terms of rain in the first half of the week but the temperatures won’t be above the very low 20s.
“Somewhat drier with scattered showers on Sunday, becoming more isolated into Monday with some sunny spells possible,” said the Met Office spokesman. “Turning drier Tuesday with plenty of sunny spells, and feeling pleasant in sunshine.”
