Tributes have been paid to a 37-year-old man who was the victim of an alleged murder in Cardigan.

John Bell, who lived in the Ceredigion town, was found near Cardigan Bridge at around 12am on Wednesday morning. A large police presence was called to the scene and parts of the town were cordoned off throughout the night as an investigation was launched.

Mr Bell’s family have released a statement in the hours following his death, as they continue to be supported by specially trained officers.
